My name is Michelle. I was born in the Philippines 27 weeks early, developing retinauphothy of prematurity from too much oxygen in the incubator which is what caused me to go completely blind but that didn't stop me from making it through with six months of being in the hospital & having surgery at two weeks old.

I've also had other operations while growing up which weren't emergency ones but knowing that it was a hospital visit which is something I don't like dealing with alone, I told myself that I would still think of positive things & keep going on with my everyday things that I enjoy doing which include:
talking & visiting with friends, volunteering at my local Food Bank, going on the internet, listening to country music, chatting on MSN messenger & telling Laugh Out Loud jokes for keeping people happy!

For a job, I hope to work at the Lighthouse for the Blind which is located in Seattle Washington as a Customer Service Representative since I like helping out in the community.
